Shipping and Returns

We ship anywhere in the mainland United States, using USPS or UPS, depending on specific shipping rates.

Return Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with the products you receive from Rattan Vilata.  If you are dissatisfied for any reason, you may return your item within 14 days from the date of purchase.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also have the original tag and packaging. In short, the items should be in a condition that allows us to resell them.  If this is not the case, then a return will not be accepted.

*Please note that some small variations in the size and color of items are to be expected as our products are handmade from natural materials.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.  Please inspect your product and report any damage to the item or mistake with your order within 3 days of receipt to  in order to be eligible for a replacement or refund. Please include the order number in your email. 

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you back an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

The cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer, unless there was a mistake on our part. The cost of return shipping will be deducted from the refund amount.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at min.vilata@gmail.com and we will message you back with further steps for an exchange.  If the item you ordered arrives defective or damaged and we are at fault, we will cover the cost of return shipping if needed.  In such an instance, please contact us at min.vilata@gmail.com to find a solution.

Steps to follow for returns and exchanges:

  1.  Within 14 days of date of purchase, send an email to min.vilata@gmail.com
  2.  with email subject [RETURN REQUEST – Order number_______]
  3. We will respond to your request via email with an attachment including a return shipping label.  The cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund amount.
  4. Wait for an email from us, confirming that the returned items were received. Refunds will be given as soon as we receive the returned item(s). Refunds will be issued via the original method of payment.  Please allow 3 days for processing of refunds, once you have received our confirmation email.
